The Sheboygan Area School District serves the local students with 12 elementary schools, three middle schools, and two senior high schools.  It offers several alternative programs to try to help students graduate and get to the local colleges for a well rounded education.  The district employs approximately 1,500 teaches and employees, and about 10,000 students.
